Center for Parent Information and Resources (CPIR)

CPIR has compiled lists of organizations that offer information, support, and services related to disability in every state and territory in the United States. Regional Resource Center Program (RRCP)

The RRC Program provides service to all states as well as the Pacific jurisdictions, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. The six regional program centers are funded by the federal Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) to assist state education agencies in the systemic improvement of education programs, practices, and policies that affect children and youth with disabilities. The RRCs are able to facilitate networking and information-sharing among states and U.S. jurisdictions with similar challenges and needs regardless of the specific regional location.

Parent Training and Information Centers

There are nearly 100 Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) and Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs) in the US and Territories with the purposes of working with families of infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities, birth to 26; Helping parents participate effectively in their children’s education and development; and partnering with professionals and policy makers to improve outcomes for all children with disabilities.

ADA National Network

The ADA National Network consists of 10 regional ADA Centers and an ADA Knowledge Translation Center. The regional ADA Centers are distributed throughout the United States to provide local assistance and foster implementation of the ADA.
