Our members include educators, therapists, other professionals and parents who care for Arkansans with disabilities. Members may attend our regularly scheduled meetings, serve on our scholarship committee and schedule one of our learning disability simulation workshops for their organizations. Members also gain access to all the resources available through the Learning Disabilities Association of America.
The annual LDAA conference brings administrators, educators, special educators, reading specialists, academic therapists, speech-language pathologists and parents together to learn the latest treatment and teaching strategies for children with learning disabilities. The conference offers professional development hours and insight from local professionals and regional or national speakers.
